There’s nothing to worry when you travel alone or your husband. However, when you have a baby, you must prepare a lot of things to make the trip smooth and convenient. Happy Mom.Life recommends 7 checklists for you to be ready before going out for vacation.

Baby Is Ready

A proper age for taking babies out on vacation is about 6 months and up, because their body and immune system are strong enough to face with new surroundings. They’re able to start communicating with the parents, so they will not cry or feel fussy along the trip.

Tourist Attraction And Accommodation

Choosing a place to visit should be made from family’s agreement. Newly moms cannot take the babies on an adventure trip. We recommend you to go to the sea and chill at the beach. Furthermore, you should stay in a hotel or resort that provides extra service such as infant bed and etc.

Time Management

If you travel by car, don’t forget to check it out before traveling. You have to consider when you should go out. You maybe go when it’s your baby bedtime because you can take a rest during the baby is sleeping. Moreover, if you go by plane, traveling documents should be prepared in advance such as a passport of the baby.

Prepare Baby Stuff

When you go out with the baby, you should be well-prepared. This is not only for mom’s stuff but also the baby's ones as well such as, hip seat, toy, medicines, hospital telephone number and especially car seat that is very important when traveling.

Prepare A Baby Bag

Actually, each baby has a lot of stuff, so you should have a special bag to put stuff in such as milk, bottle, plastic bag, tissue paper, diapers, clothing, towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, hat or umbrella and etc. Make sure it is convenient to carry and take around.

 Cooking Preparation

Food is important, therefore you cannot ignore it. Babies and kids do not able to tolerate hunger. Don’t let them wait until you’re at the destination. Moms should prepare simple menus or snacks for them to eat when they’re hungry while traveling.

Make Sure You’re Ready

A vacation may not be as fun, smooth or comfortable as in the past.  You might not be able to take the baby or kid out on the first time, but at least you get new experiences. You have to prepare more for the next time.

Tips

If you travel a long distance, you should take a break every 2 hours to keep your baby resting or drinking milk and water. This way they are not going to be too tired of traveling.

Check all these 7 lists to make sure that you’re ready for the trip. It’s not enjoying vacation time but, making family relationship even stronger.
